The board of the Partnership for Student Advancement (PSA) has decided to form an Advisory Council to expand the support base for the organization and its’ important work. A major function of the Council will be to reach out and engage others in PSA’s cause and urge them to attend events and/or donate.

Susan Greenwood has global business development and sales experience spanning a 30-year career in wealth management marketing, product sales and start-up ventures. She is President of DDD Enterprises, an international consulting firm with services including business development, strategic planning, public affairs and communications programs for both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. She also served as President of Green Technology Group. owner of worldwide license rights for multiple green construction technologies.

Ms. Greenwood’s earlier career was honed with increasing responsibility and stature in the banking industry at Manufacturers Hanover Trust, Chemical and Marine Midland. Ultimately, she was a founder and principal of one of the first commercial banks established by an investment group for private banking. She is a member of the BRAVA Investments Advisory Board and has served on numerous other business advisory boards. She is also a former director of a New York Stock Exchange high technology company.

She served as President of the International Women’s Forum and its Leadership Foundation, the Columbia Business School Alumni Association. She was a presidential appointee to the National Advisory Council of the U.S. Small Business Administration and a mayoral appointee to the WNYC Foundation Board.

A cum laude graduate in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, Ms. Greenwood holds an MBA in finance, Beta Gamma Sigma, and an MA from Columbia University. She also completed an executive management program at Harvard Business School. She resides in New York City.

Francesca Burack, MS

Award winning entrepreneur, Francesca Burack is Founder and President of Take Action Now Inc. and Fearless Talent Inc. USA, firms specializing in start-ups, executive coaching, business development, and organizational transformations. Due to her consistent success in meeting and exceeding client goals, major corporations and business owners have retained Francesca for long-term consulting and coaching projects.

Francesca has over 20 years of experience in domestic and international human resources, and organizational development. In addition to successfully running her own company, Francesca has internal corporate management experience, external consulting, coaching, and counseling experience, nonprofit and educational experience.

Prior to starting her own business, Francesca had a successful career in the New York educational system. She began as a teacher, became supervisor of guidance and then the number two administrator of a high school.

Francesca has a Master of Science in Counseling, and has been an adjunct professor at New York University and Marymount College. As an active member of various civic organizations, Francesca brings people of differences together for mutual understanding and respect. She is on the Board of PSA Partnership because of its excellent systematic approach to assisting high risk low income students to become productive members of society and have a fulfilling life.
